Parking in Newtown

In addition to free on-street parking, there are two municipal parking lots available. One is located behind the stores on South State Street between Washington and Centre Avenues, and the other is next to Borough Hall, 23 N. State Street.

The time restrictions vary on State Street between Penn Street and Greene Street and attention should be made to specific signs. Time zones vary from 30 minutes to two hours maximum. Time and space restrictions are also posted on Washington Avenue, Centre Avenue and Penn Street between State Street and Court Street. There are no restrictions on Sundays.
