The “Friends For All Time Gala” is a fundraising event celebrating the 125th anniversary of Friends Village and Paxson Hall (50 South Congress Street). The gala will be an evening rich with history, music, dancing and other entertainment while raising funds for Paxson Hall's restoration and preservation.
Experience the elegance and charm of the early 1900s with: ✨ A whimsical, actor-led tour through the storied past of Paxson Hall 🎶 Live music by Footstompers performing jazz and blues with the talented duo of Shikha Prashar and Francis Lusardi and The Creswell Club, performing jazz and ragtime from the 1900s–1930s 🍽️ Exquisite cuisine by Joseph’s Premier Catering 🎩 1900s-themed attire encouraged (but not required).
Together, we will also honor those who have shaped our legacy of community and care: Judge Edward M. Paxson, visionary benefactor whose generosity built and gifted Paxson Hall, and Lydia Lewis, representing The Parry Family, whose dedication to Friends Village began in 1915 and continues today.
